In this series will explore one of the oldest neighborhoods on the island of Manhattan, going back four centuries. Ep 2.3 – Get Lost with H.P. Lovecraft and O. Henry at Grove Court – Step 3 of the Old Greenwich Village Series

In this episode we stroll further west on Grove Street to Grove Court, as we make our way to the forgotten heart of the Old Greenwich Village Quarter. We do so in some creative company of two famous writers who once wandered these streets and imagined what might be hidden behind its garden doors – O. Henry and H. P. Lovecraft. We hear a selection from each of them, the short stories they wrote hungry, tired, broke or drunk, that they wrote to pay the rent, to vent about broken dreams, in love or hate with New York and the village. Ep 2.4 – St. Luke in the Fields and Santa – Step 4 of the Old Greenwich Village

This is step four in our Old Greenwich Village series. In this episode we find our selves in the forgotten heart of Old Greenwich and meet the father of Santa Claus and the enemy of the Grid Plan – one in the same man named Clement Clark Moore. He also was the leader of one of Manhattan’s most quiet and charming churches which we visit in this episode.

Ep. 2.6 Stonewall Inn & Riots – Step 6 in the Old Greenwich Village Series

This is the last step in the Old Greenwich Series and in this episode we visit the site of the Stonewall Riots, talk about Gay Liberation as well as the AIDS epidemic in New York. We also visit the Northern Dispensary, an ancient clinic that once treated Edgar Allen Poe and ponder the Village’s future.
