In the fourth step of the Old Seaport Tour we stop at 211 Pearl Street. Pearl Street was once at the heart of New York’s shipping trade. One of the few remaining buildings contains a strange mystery, uncovered just before it was threatened to be torn down and replaced with a skyscraper.
